21 Day Sugar Detox
You never know what tomorrow may bring
It is the end of the workweek for me – finally. It has been allot easier than I expected but at the same time I feel so relieved that I can just put my feet up and relax. I really enjoyed being creative and discovering new ways of eating sugar/dairy/grain free all while in Afghanistan with minimum resources and choices. I am very proud of myself actually. And there is something about creating new meals or making something as simple as almond milk that lights up my soul – I really do LOVE cooking and baking, its one of the things I miss most while being out here 12 weeks at a time. But I only have 26 days to go until I go home for a break. I CAN’T WAIT. I want to be settled into my new way of eating (yes this is not 21 days for me – this is a lifestyle change) before I go home. Due to my dairy & gluten intolerance/sensitivity I know it’s the best thing I can do for my body and my overall wellness. I already feel better than what I did 5 days ago!
I am looking forward to a weekend of reading, writing and integrative life coaching sessions with friends – helping people to live their Best Life. I am so very blessed in so many different ways.

*DAY 5 I FEEL ALIVE*
Breakfast: 3 Egg Veggie Scramble & Bacon
Lunch: Chicken & Vegetable Curry with lots of greens
Dinner: Beef Kebab, Cauliflower Mash, Green Beans, Grilled Onion & Salad
2L of fluids (water/herbal teas/1xsoda water)
Not sure why, but I was struggling with my fluid intake again today…
I AM GOING TO MAKE A CONCIOUS EFFORT TOMORROW TO HAVE 3L
HEAVENLY Frappuccino made with my very own Almond Milk
