Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view. Obi-Wan Kenobi

What if the life you are living right now was something you chose willingly.

You may wonder why on earth would I choose a life that has suffering in it? Why would I choose a life where there is loss and hurt and pain?

What if I told you that you chose this life for those very things, they are what you need to grow and evolve into the best version of yourself.

The very things you are now running from, avoiding, wishing away and trying to change, you seeked them out, you hand picked them. They are the very gateways to the next and best version of you.

What about this body that you are hating and punishing with diets and exercise routines, negative self-talk and behaviours?

This is the body that you wanted without a second thought.

“O come on Anke why would I want a body that is over weight/under weight/disabled/different” I hear you say. Why?!

What if you knew that this body was exactly what you needed, to accomplish what you needed to accomplish on this journey. You knew before you entered this body that this is the body you needed to serve the purpose of growth and change. This was your vessel of choice.

What if you started looking at your life this way? What if you started looking at your body this way? Knowing that it was very personal choice rather than being the victim of circumstance. Instead of believing that this was the hand I was dealt and there is not much I can do about it, how about changing your perspective too "this is the hand I wanted and it is exactly what I need to evolve into the best version of myself"!

It all depends on how we look at things, and not how they are in themselves. Carl Jung

How would your perceptions of circumstances change?

How would your choices be different?

I dare you to challenge what you believe and consider for a moment, WHAT IF this was all my choice?
